      Hannah Caldow

Lead Child Care Educator and Programming Facilitator

Hannah believes all children are special and unique little people, who should be treated as individuals. She is very passionate about the Early Years and believes that children first need to feel safe, secure, supported and loved before any learning or development can occur.  Hannah has worked in Early Childhood for 6 years, both as a professional Nanny and in Early Learning Centres. She holds both a Certificate and Diploma of Children’s Services, and plans to study a Bachelor of Teaching. Unstructured, imaginative and open ended play are a huge part of her philosophy, and Hannah believes there should always be plenty of opportunities for hands on learning and messy, sensory exploration! Orawan Weeks

Kindergarten Assistant and Child Care Educator
I have been working in early education for over 10 years. I love to see the children grow and learn in a happy environment and believe that early childhood educators have one of the most important jobs—preparing children for the world of learning. I also believe play should be fun, exciting, spontaneous, hands-on, stimulating, relaxing, comforting and challenging.  All children should be given an opportunity to learn from their decisions, including the opportunity to make their own choices, but always within the confines of a safe environment for the safety and well being of themselves and others. My role as an educator is to help children reflect on their actions and make appropriate choices and I always strive to influence children by encouraging them to try to empathise with others. Orawan works with us Monday to Thursday.
