What families typically pay
An illustration only — your subsidy percentage depends on your family income and activity test result. Services Australia has the definitive numbers.
| Your CCS percentage | Subsidy per day | Your out-of-pocket, per day |
|---|---|---|
| 90% | $144.72 | $16.08 |
| 75% | $120.60 | $40.20 |
| 50% | $80.40 | $80.40 |
| 0% | — | $160.80 |
Figures assume the full $160.80 daily fee sits under the CCS hourly rate cap for centre-based day care. We’re happy to walk through your own numbers with you — just ask when you visit.
